Project Overview

This project included the development of a new athletic complex for the Osceola School District. Point of Beginning worked alongside of the Architect and School District to provide concept planning and master planning services during the pre-referendum stage. After the referendum was passed, Point of Beginning provided design and survey services to develop a 9-lane running track, synthetic turf football/soccer field, running and throwing event areas, new home and visitor bleachers,  concession stand, restroom facilities, and press box.  The project design included updated storm water management systems and detention areas, which included the installation of proper under drain systems, to correct existing flooding problems.

Project Overview

This project consisted of two phases. Phase 1 included the development of a new 8-lane, 9-sprint lane track, all-weather surface and striping, the construction of new field events, a synthetic turf football field, 2,200 seat capacity home bleachers with storage area, 500 seat capacity visitor bleachers, a natural turf soccer field with press box / shelter area, upgraded baseball fields to include batting cages, new stadium lights for the football and soccer fields, plaza with an entry statement and ticket booth, and storm water retention areas. Phase 1 also consisted of an indoor practice facility that included a weight room and auxiliary room.

Phase 2 included a new synthetic turf softball field with dirt infield, new bleachers, protective netting, batting cages and bullpen.

Project Overview

This project consisted of providing design, survey, and construction administration for the development of a new 8-lane track with 9 sprint lanes, which will include an all-weather surface and striping, the construction of new jumping events such as the high jump located in the “D” area, long jump, triple jump, and pole vault, the construction of one discus throwing event area and two shot put throwing areas, and the construction of a 200 foot competition softball field. This project included the placement of new synthetic turf on the football and soccer field, new lighting and scoreboard, construction of a visitor bleacher pad and 2 storage buildings.
